Mayank Manish
Commissioner, Bikaner Municipal Corporation
"A city isn’t defined only by clean roads or good systems—it grows through its people, especially its children. Reviving our traditions and opening new horizons for them is just as important. Being part of creating this festival has been truly exciting."

Namrata Vrishni
District Collector, Bikaner
"I feel the real change begins with our children. Offering a multidisciplinary festival to the kids of Bikaner can open new paths—deepening their curiosity, their learning, and the world they imagine for themselves."

Aparna Gupta
Commissioner, Bikaner Developement Authority
"Bikaner’s heritage is its strength, and it’s essential that our children connect with it meaningfully. This festival is a step toward nurturing creativity and cultural confidence in them, and I’m glad to support such an initiative."

Malang Folk Foundation, an NGO based in Bikaner, brings folk first to life by preserving and promoting heritage, music, art, craft, storytelling, and community engagement. Ajoo Gooja is a festival made possible by their dedicated team, guided by the vision of founder Gopal Singh Chouhan. He believes in breaking the monotonous routines of children and letting them experience the world beyond screens, school walls, and the instant gratification of online shopping. “Technology hasn’t spared even the children,” he says, and through hands-on workshops with traditional craftspeople, exposure to thoughtful music and theatre, playful sports, global interactions, and books that open new worlds, kids learn to create, explore, and imagine. Here, they discover that life can be made by their own hands, curiosity, and courage—a sensitive, inspiring journey that shapes not just childhood, but humanity
